A long term partnership 

Scope

We have been working with Bath & West Community Energy since 2019 as their exclusive asset development partner.

We manage the end to end development process from initial site finding, to financial assessment, to proposal writing, lease negotiation, and project management of the installation across all renewable technology types.

Outcomes

Empowered has delivered ~2,500 kWp of rooftop solar for Bath & West Community Energy across more than 30 sites.

This is saving the sites a combined total of ~£250,000 per year.

We’re reducing carbon emissions by 500 tons/CO2 per year.

A contribution of over £2,000,000 will be made by the Charitable Foundation over the life of the projects to causes in and around the Bath area.

We now have a significant pipeline of small scale ground mounted solar, and wind turbines, which will add 50 MWp to the overall generation portfolio.
